Magnetic Field Forces

February 10, 2006

I just put myself in this situation, trying to figure out how does a charged particle move in a magnetic field, what kind of forced applied to it by the field forces..? I have some force equation at hand but I am not smart to convert it to something I can use in processing… I think I am going to skip this for a while and concentrate on the pendulum and angular motion first. Here is the tutorials I was trying to follow about magnetic field forces.

Magnetic fields and how to make them

Also I came accross different algorithms/methods to calculate trajectories of particles in molecular dynamics simulations. Verlet Intergration and Euler integration are two of those, keeping those names to take a peek later.
